Why Dr. Lynnette, MD?
Look at my photo from 2003! I’ve come a long way since then, when I weighed 250 pounds. Within my wholistic health coaching movement I share valuable lessons learned throughout my journey to better health…physically, mentally, and spiritually. As I have encountered health challenges of my own on this journey of peaks and valleys, I am able to empathize with others on their own unique health journeys. I especially enjoy educating, empowering and inspiring other women, whom I consider my sisters. One of the lessons that I have learned is that whether you are a size 2 or 24, that focusing on your inner beauty will reflect on your outer beauty.

Dear Dr. Moore,
Thank you so much for your interesting, informative, inspirational and motivating Sermon and Presentation last Sabbath, December 7, 2019. I loved your Sermon and how you demonstrated that God had always intended for us to have a vegan diet. I also greatly appreciated how you clearly demonstrated why Eve chose to eat the apple despite knowing what God wanted her to do. The meal your husband cooked was beautiful and no doubt nutritious. I loved all of the materials and handouts. Hmmmm the chia pudding was good too. I told Sister Milteer and Sister Sonia that it was the best Sabbath Church day ever! I even called a couple of Church members who could not attend and told them all about Church that day. Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend it with Coastal Shores Church.
Your sermon as well as the seminar that you presented after the service on Health Emphasis Day at Coastal Shores SDA , Sabbath, 12/07/19, was very enlightening and informative. You did not mind the questions that were asked, and gave accommodating responses with much patience. I do enjoy eating vegetarian foods sometimes, but the vegan haystack meal was delicious. Your presentation which included plant based foods and other health related subjects was really educational. We must remember that, as the Word of God says (and as you pointed out), God desires that we “may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 2).
During the latter half of this year–2019, some of Coastal Shores SDA members have been studying the CREATION Health principles of “living life to the fullest.” Dr. Lynnette, your sermon and presentation on our Health Emphasis Day was dynamic! Your sermon entitled, Lessons From the Garden of Eden, took us back to the beginning of Creation, where everything that God had made was pronounced by Him as “very good.” Yes everything was perfect, as you reminded us; “God prepared everything that man would need and enjoy to be happy.” As stated in John 10:10, we know that Jesus came to earth for a totally opposite purpose than that of Satan, the villain–the chief thief of thieves–diabetes, hypertension, cancer, mental illness and so on. We can agree that Satan uses these thievery diseases and illnesses that rob us of “living life to the fullest,” as they steal from us, more potentially quality years to spend with our family, friends and loved ones. Your posing the question, “what are you going to do about it?” really hit home. The questions we asked during our Seminar Lunch demonstrated our interest to find ways to a better, healthy and long life. While you elaborated on “Lessons From the Garden of Eden,” we enjoyed our delicious “Rainbow Haystacks Vegan” meal. The total vegan meal–a beautiful sight to see, when the various colored raw vegetables were stacked on top of the deliciously cooked chili by David, your culinary-skilled husband. Your providing us with “The Nutrition Rainbow” chart was inspiring, as we viewed how God, from the beginning, has always provided for our physical, mental and spiritual well being. If we would take hold of these natural resources of foods, how blessed would we be. This was a beautiful demonstration of God’s love and His desire for us to “have life…more abundantly” (John 10:10).
